The girl friend just bought a race car. She's been doing HPDE's with me and was worried about hurting her MINI.
She found an 1988 Nissan Sentra setup for ITC for $2300. It's supposed to be turn key and ready to go but it is a race car so it's never that easy.
That's two race cars I'll have to maintain now.

If you buy me one I'll promise to maintain it myself.

Awesome! I had a '90 street car for a while. Best dynamics of any front driver I've owned to date! Please do keep us updated with pics.
It won't be the fastest thing on 4 wheels but I figured it would be reliable and relatively cheap (as far as race cars go) to run and maintain. I had raced against this car a couple of times and had talked to the guy in the paddock so it wasn't a total shot in the dark.
Here's the e-bay ad.

good for you. she is enjoying the hobby too.
it seems to be a good deal for the money and it is in the Nissan family, which should make you happy.
Well we got it home okay and she's so excited she can hardly stand still. The first thing she wanted to do was strip the sticks off of it. So now it looks just like any other POS Sentra.
It came with a ton of spares. The spares package was worth the price of the car. How come I can never find a deal like this when I'm looking for a car?
aaaahhh poor guy, nope dont feel bad you sorry. On anther note COOL
I'll take them both off your hands for $3000

I think you'd have a fight on your hands if you tried to buy her car. She want to drive it so bad she can taste it. The fact that the seat doesn't fit her and she can't reach the pedals wouldn't slow her down.
