Never been, but I was also unaware bikes ran with the cars instead of in a separate run group...also as a bike guy, I can't imagine sharing the course with cars all trying to go at speed...far safer for everyone this way.
Just curious, are there already separate events for karts to run the Ring...? Quick search reveals there are SIM and indoor electric kart locations in Nurburg using the name "Nurburgring", but not quite the same as running a shifter around the actual asphalt.

Just yesterday I was talking to a buddy of mine and I mentioned that it's a shame that my trailer isn't long enough to fit both Miatas. He suggested that I could trailer a Miata and a motorcycle so I could just roll up to the track and take whatever I pleased. I explained that I'd never seen a track day that allowed mixed traffic because of visibility concerns and size difference between vehicles, and that such a thing would be scary; only a couple hours after that conversation, this article popped up.
Y'all might be braver than I but when I'm on track in a car I don't want to risk bumping a bike or hitting a rider who's sliding, and when I'm on track on a bike I don't want to risk a love tap by a car during a pass or playing leapfrog with vehicles of wildly different accelerative capacities.
Even the (now closed and mostly demolished) local kart track that pretty much always had a safety lawsuit going against them didn't allow more than one type of vehicle on track at the same time. it was practically their only actual rule.
