Its just two things that I really like that really wouldnt be thought of as going together. I like the Duramax and I love 60's camaros

The Duramax is pretty light (for a diesel). Lots of aluminum.

It's not your Grandfathers diesel Oldsmobile.

Full dress a Duramax is pushing near 900lbs, plus whatever heavier gearbox was required. That's a lot on a ~3200lb car designed around a ~570lb engine, that was probably already front heavy in the first place.
