My dad had a bottle jack with a pair of collars, one with an upwards facing cup on top of the body and the other with a downwards facing cup just under the saddle. To go with it was a chunk of pipe split lengthwise, hinged back together, and spring loaded to stay pipe-ish.
The setup looks like it was factory made, but you jack the car up, slap the pipe around the shaft, and let it down so the sleeves catch both ends. Supposedly it's exactly the right height for something on an old VW, but dad used it for everything.

That's very cool. Looks like the trademark was only filed earlier this year, so it may still only be a prototype. Nothing on the http://www.alltradetools.com/ website yet.
