So I Bought this Moroso oil pan for the 13b for my 13b Renesis knowing ahead of time it might not fit (the company said they have never worked with renesis but with many parts being swappable between all 13b's I gave it a chance),

aaand it doesnt. Every hole lines up perfectly actually, except for all the ones on the front cover, and unfortunately its not as simple as redrilling as the flange overhangs a lot. At one point there is a pinhole where you can see inside it because it overhangs, see here:

So what should i do here? I show another picture here of the pan off the engine:

drain plug on different side in this picture ^

So how should i do this? Im thinking just send it to a machine shop and have them remake that whole side but how much would something like that be? Here is another picture to give you the best idea:

I have to use this because of my swap, and there is no other options specifically for the 13b renesis with a similar design (almost completely flat on the back side for crossmember clearance) The pan was 400$ (has trap doors and a baffle plate) would it be more economical to return this one and have a whole new one made, then to pay modify this 400$ one? I doubt it and i feel like either way im gonna be spending more money than I'm comfortable with but such is life I guess

Make an adapter plate out of 6061T6 x.090. Start by tracing the outer dimension for the new pan onto the plate. Then make a cardboard pattern of the inside dimension of the Renesis. carefully locate both center lines on each, then trace the pattern onto the plate. Cut. Clearance drill all the holes that work in both pieces. Use flat headed allen screws into the block holes that  do not fit the pan. drill and tap holes into adapter plate for the holes that exist only in the pan.

ooh actually howabout using the oil baffle plate as the adapter plate? its .090 aluminium also and stiff enough that I can't really bend it

the upper right side of the picture is where that largest overhang was. So as you can see there is plenty of room to drill adapter holes. Does that sound like a good idea? Either way one question about the flat topped alans, So I just create the bevel seat with the tip of a drill bit to get it to sit flat?
