MiataStang?
Not sure why anyone went to this much trouble when perfectly good Mustangs are commonly available. The front and rear views look like pretty accurate replicas, but the side view looks completely wonky due to the wrong wheelbase:
Again, just a big "Why?" in my book.

Someone has too much money that's why. Your right on the side view.
Remeber when a rolls hood on a VW bug was the big thing in the city, I alway chuckled when i'd see that.
You know...those proportions are actually pretty spot on. The only problem is the roll-bar is incredibly out of place. And the soft-top shape is obviously carried over from the Miata, but it's not bad.
I kinda like it.
I don't love it. But I don't love it either. lol

What cracks me up is someone spent a huge amount of money on the body conversion, and even went to the trouble of red line tires, but left the stock Miata wheels...
It would be fun to put a 302 in it, and show up to Mustang shows and Mustang club trackdays...

Can you get 4 lug TorqueThrust wheels?
I noticed the "m1stang" writing on the side, and that leads to here: http://m1stang.tripod.com/
$12,999 for the conversion, plus paint.
In reply to dculberson :
So, what you're saying is, this is a steal?

Interesting, but I'd rather have the Bronco...
I kind of like it. But, as stated why? It's a niche car. I doubt someone looking for a Miata is interested, or someone looking for a Mustang either.

Of note, he is selling the miata body panel takeoffs... so maybe not a total loss...
These . . . "abnormalities" always make me think of Dr. Ian Malcolm.
The big difference is in Jurassic Park, they are always mixing the best of two species. Here, they've managed to combine the weight and aero of a Mustang with the power of a Miata.

I kinda want one just to mess with people especially with an LSx conversion.
It is a bit odd in shape, with the right wheels and roll bar for it, it might not be too bad.
That said, I'd only do that if I had a winning lottery ticket and I didn't care about the costs at that point.

They do have a bit of a minilite wheel look to them though.

CAM-T legal?
Drop in a 5.0L and it gets even more confusing.
A Miata won the GRM "Pickup truck class", maybe a Miata could win CAM too.
I'd like to see them do a Miata micro-Batmobile conversion

I've seen these in real life- they've been around for a while.
The pictures don't show the scale well- Its like a 3/4 scale Mustang with no back seat.
The proportions don't work in real life- they are just off

I don't hate it. Actually kind of like it. Course it also hits kind of close to home what with putting different bodies on Miatae.
Wonder what the reception would be like if it shows up a a Miata show of any type? I would like to think it would be amusing to most people.
Needs more V8 of the 302 variety.

Someone finally answered the question, "How do I make my Mustang handle like a Miata?"
I like the redline tires on the Miata wheels, separate from the rest of it.
The proportions are wayyyyyy better than the Camaro on VW pan.
Excuse to use the new photo functions:
But, hey, they got the rallye wheels right.

That thing really makes the case for forced sterilization.
Don't forget about the Miata Aston Martin kit!
This one, I actually like:
