Before anybody jumps to conclusions: No, we aren't going anywhere, we haven't been sold, etc. etc. We have no plans to stop making magazines.
But we do have plans to move to a smaller office, as most of us are working from home now. We no longer need 5000 square feet of space.
But somebody does! View the listing details here:

Can we jump to conclusions if we want to?
But will have enough room for activities in a smaller facility?
Mercury Grand Marquis hubcap as wall art!
PS: I think the cap is not hung correctly so as to capture the logo at its proper angle.
I'm thinking the Volusa County Historical Society needs to put up an historical marker on the corner.

I was hoping they'd move to a bigger facility in order to host guest builders.
This week: Gumby shows you how to stack dimes!
Upcoming: AngryCorvair shows you how to build a proper M/R car. Date TBD.
Wow, that's less money than I thought something that size would go for in that area.
Though, once it's in the category of "unaffordable" it doesn't matter if it's $50,000 or $5,000,000.
Will be interesting to see if the realtor suggests to raise the price or that the sale will be easy based on the web clicks and "interest" in the property not realizing it's just us dorks.
Downsizing is one solution. Another would be to utilize currently unused space to grow the GRM brand and branch out into some new fields of endeavor. Why not a GRM brewpub? Pizza joint? Manufacturing and bottling plant for GRM brand hot sauce?

Seems like a good deal, too bad shipping is a killer.
Whomever buys the building and moves in will eventually wonder why random cars (as well as trucks pulling junk cars on trailers) keep parking in the lot and taking pictures.
You guys are always scrambling for garage space, why not turn something you already own into something more useful?

Hey, is that Margie grimacing over in the corner?

Even Smokey's 'Best Damn Garage in Town' is an unmarked vacant lot.
In reply to AClockworkGarage :
Autocross at Smokey's?
I knew it. The old place has been haunted for years, and the GRM Crew has finally been scared off. I'll bet its actually old-man Jenkins!
In reply to Tom Suddard :
This is the perfect opportunity to move the headquarters to beautiful New England.
P.S.: Bring the Challenge.
And I was going to ask about the change in address on my renewal??

That's where our subscription service people are located--we've been using them for a couple of years now after moving from Palm Coast Data.

Williamsport isn't exactly a tourist destination. It is, however, close to many miles of wonderful roads, many of them dirt. STPR rally happens not far away.
This has nothing to do with GRM HQ. Just flexing my local knowledge muscle.
