As long as they (or their paperwork) are 25 years old, definitely. One of our Westfield customers has a Mini van that he's quite proud of.

I love the old Mini Clubman GT 1275. I also thought it would be cool to get a Mini pickup for light hauling duty just because it is a little different. It will probably never happen but I can dream.

There is a mini van with a Honda K20 swap here in town. Pick ups, estates, and vans are harder to find than saloons, but yes they are around.

Where does one go to find a classic Mini in the states? eBay was more than unhelpful, because they were not very grassroots priced. I kinda want one with a 4g63 swapped in....

You find someone in the UK who's willing to deal with you, or you pay US prices. You'll pay higher prices in the UK for a 25-year-old Mini than you would for a 20-year-old one because it can be exported to the US, as well.

Also, keep in mind that the rarer variants in the UK - especially the pickup - do command quite a premium. And there are tons of grotty Minis in the UK and not that many nice ones that are for sale.

Keep eye on craigslist as well. You may have to do some sifting, but one may turn up.
