I am the only one who keeps service manuals for cars they no longer own? I'm looking at my book shelf and realized that over half the FSM, Haynes and Chilton's books are for cars/trucks I no longer have... and there are a few for cars I never even owned.

I've probably not had near as many cars as you, but I do have manuals for 2 cars and 1 drive train I no longer posses. I have multiples of a few too, greasy, smudged, dirty ones and not so dirty ones.

I still have service manuals for every car I've owned. I even have a few for cars I've never owned, and probably never will.

Same here. The first thing I do when buying a car is to get a manual for it. A couple of deals fell through and I still have the manuals (911; TR6). You can't have too much information.

Cool digital list. Hopefully you're backing those up !!

Much like that above.

I even found a "J" series Jeep service manual.

OST, I can "hep" you out on the Elise stuff if you want. You're missing a big chunk.

I always save them. I might buy another one day.

Hell, I have manuals for cars I've never owned, just because I came across the manual and thought there was vague chance I may end up with one.

Ever notice that within 6 months of getting rid of any old manuals you end up with a project that involves parts from every manual you just tossed?

I've had factory service manuals for 1st gen RX7s and Jeep CJs for decades now and will likely never own either.

Do I see rx8 on your list? Got anything for the '09 and newer rx8's? They may appear to be face lifted but many many parts changed.

The RX8 manual is 42 megs... and its in html. It contains 5500 files in 22 folders. It was originally scrounged for any info on the AZ6 6 speed.

I just went through and "updated" my list... a bit more now (4 gigs)

What you got Doc???
