In 1988 and '89 I was racing this RX-2, and one Saturday a few of us went to the drag strip at Bithlo for some testing. Tim was there with the Griffith on that cover. The track was extremely slippery that night, as I was having traction issues even with my meager 140 hp rotary. I was impressed that Tim turned a 12.9 on his skinny tires, wire wheels and all.
The RX-2 was at 14.5.
