That thread also reminds me something. I was BMXing around town yesterday and saw a BMW i8 parked outside of a gym and turned so quickly to check it out that I nearly hit it. I bet a lot of really nice cars get dinged because of people rubber necking it.

I guess I've decided it's "what you can afford to thrash". Anything else is a good habit to have, keeping your car clean, but could be a slippery slope.
