I've competed against this guy in LeMons, and a good friend of mine is on their team. They have a BP-swapped Ford Festiva, among other cars.
Anyway, they're developing a completely open-source, open-hardware engine controller solution. There's a Kickstarter where they're trying to raise money to push it further. I'd appreciate it if you could help him out.

You do know, Alan, that he's on this board? Has a build thread and everything- http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/build-projects-and-project-cars/diy-ecu-build-thread/79518/page1/
And fans, too.
He also has a build thread on here.
Andrey, the mad Russian. I know him.

Sorry I saw "mechadorkzilla" and jealousy shut my brain off.
Here's his Tindie store: https://www.tindie.com/stores/russian/
I'm waiting for my Digikey account to be approved to post the BOM cost, but this looks like it can be done in the $100 range for this controller.
BOM cost is $71.71, with 5+ weeks lead time on some of his specified parts.
Anyone else ordering one of these?

Shows how out of touch I am. Sorry for the repost.

Reposts are good, sometimes.
But where did you find it if not here?
For those of us not immersed in the world of aftermarket EFI, what is the advantage over Megasquirt?
The dev board the project is based on is only $14.90 at Digikey.
It's very likely that I'll be getting one of these soon. I may have to sub out some parts, though. Time to start reading spec sheets!
In reply to alfadriver:
Andrey is a mutual friend with a few people I know. Judge Phil and Eric Rood. They both mentioned it on Facebook.

Amazing the connections we have, isn't it? While there are a lot of us, the car world is pretty tight.
