Some of you know that I am working on building a space frame for Miata suspension and drivetrain. I am working with Gary Janes from England on a 50's inspired body for it. I have attached a couple photoshop pics. One has a larger grill opening. The other a smaller Oval. Just wondering which one people would prefer. You are my focus group. Thanks, John

larger... definatly larger
Top one looks mean and purposeful. The bottom one looks happy like a new Mazda only without the huge expanse of smooth plastic. I vote for the one on top.
I like them both, but if I had to choose, I'd go larger.

the bottom is too jaguar-ish
Both are good but I like the larger one better.

Larger one is better. Reminds me of an Aston or even a Ferrari a bit. The smaller one looks a little like an E-Type, but a lot like a catfish.
The larger, Ferrari styled grill opening makes me want to sign up for one.
The other makes me think "Oh look someone modified a cobra body"
kinda reminds me of a Siata 208 spider
Definitely, definitely larger.
Think I am going to go with Larger also.

Do you plan on selling this as a kit or is this a one off project?
As for your question, I like them both:-)
Larger. Top photo makes me want to start saving my pennies. You guys have a name for this project yet?

Large
The small looks cartoon-ish ala Pixar
Really, my answer is that I like the square-ness rather than the oval-ness. Possible that a smaller rectangle could be good.

Smaller. Although both are good. And if you keep this around the same price as the Sammio, I'll be in line.

I thought I'd like the smaller but the larger one, as others have said is more aggressive less cartoon.
another vote for larger.
Isn't that just this kit car?

Larger, but it needs to have a honkin' intercooler hanging out.
I say smaller but more rectangular. Have it follow the body lines more closely.
