It's getting time to do the brakes on the Disco.. as I am both tired of pad dust and I tend to tow some heavy loads, I thought I would upgrade.
Tirerack sells Disc Brakes Australia's T3 rotors for the Disco and Hawk HPS pads. I had the HPS pads on the bimmer, so I know they throw some dust, but nothing like the cheap pads that are probably on there now.
The big question is.. how good are the DBA rotors? They seem a decent price at 118/each. I was expecting more for a heavy 4x4, so I am not complaining about that, I just do not want to have to redo them in a few thousand miles because they warped or grooved due to being inferior

This topic interests me as well. DBA is one of the only high quality brake manufacturers for landcruisers so I'll be trying a set at some point soon unless something here changes my mind.
I had them on my 97 C5 with EBC pads and had no issues in the 4 years I owned it after installation.
DBA USA doesn't carry the rotors for my car... even though they are available from DBA
well.. I am going to hazard a guess that they are decent rotors if nobody said anything bad about them by now

Or if they are like myself, too poor to afford them.

Have them on my Subaru, work great. High quality steel, don't rust and have the "kangaroo paw" inards that are supposed to help them cool. Would buy again if available.
FIL is a left foot beaker, used up 2 sets of OEM rotors in 35k, I got DBA rotors and they lasted 180k, when he replaced he went OEM again they wear out every 15/20k since,.
