Oh E36 M3! That reminded me of a row over another SportKa commercial with it beheading a cat with its sunroof.
Fake, no blood, but still kind of disturbing if you are a cat/animal lover.

The US/Canada market got all 2800 of the TR8s except for a handful of "test" cars. Other than that I can't think of any other examples where we got the better cars. I would love to own own of the later TVRs that never made it here.
You can buy a Ka in the US, it just comes with Fiat 500 badges on the back. Same car, same production line different dress from 09-13
I walked most places and took a cab twice. Coming from Seattle the traffic wasn't that bad. That said the cab drivers are insane. I did like knowing that big brother was always with me no matter what I was doing.... at least my one day meeting went well and one of the US guys told me about his aw11 he had just got!! That was fun:-)

XR4Ti.
Everywhere else got some crappy V6 in the XR4i. It was cheaper to ship 2.3 Turbo engines to Germany for export to the US than it was to make the V6 pass US emissions regs.
Yes, we didn't get the Cosworth, but that's not the same thing.
We frequently only got the "best" models, too. No 1.3l Civics or Golfs. No 1.6l nonturbo GD Imprezas. And if you thought the old 450SL was depressingly slow for what it could be, wait until you try the 2.8 six cylinder version.
I was just in Italy and fell in love with the Fiat Panda (of all generations). What an honest little car.

They've also made "Canada-specific changes" like doing a folding rear seat so you can fit a hockey bag, uprating the OEM wheels to 15" so it's easier to find snow tires, and adjusting the suspension for better high-speed control.
It's kind of an interesting car - especially at that price - but I feel like they might just be making fun of us. If they announce a partnership with Tim Hortons, that's it.

Yeah, but who asked for them? Sticking a V8 engine that only put out 155 bhp into that rubber lipped flying doorstop didn't turn it into a super car (any more than it did when they made the same change to the MGB GT).
But as an old Grantura owner, I am with you on the TVRs - always entertaining cars and I'd have loved to get a Cerbera or a Speed 6 into my garage!
