Time for a turbo KL 2.5 V6.

The guy's main business is auto repair, and I don't know where the cars come from, but he doesn't have much of a car lot, these cars are sitting in his parking lot with stuff written on the windshield. I don't know if they're cars that recently had large repairs and their owners could not pay, stop they just signed the car over or what. If that's the case he may be more form on the price, but some money is better than no money, right?
After fighting between my phone and computer, here's a picture of said car.
Yes, there's a BMW 2002 in the background, I think it's waiting on parts.
I'm really diggin the wagon aspect, bein's as I can put motors or whatever other crap I drag home in the back. I'm diggin the roughness of it so if people bang against it I won't cry, and it will add to the sleeperness of it should I go all out and built something stupid out of it.
Why am I getting excited over a beater ford?
If it's red, i have a somewhat beat EGT grill you can have for it.
I had an EGT bumper as well (still do), but it's somewhat cracked as well now.

Because you are here and somehow have found love in your heart for a red headed orphaned stepchild vehicles.
See I figured with "rising gas prices" efficient little cars like these will be a hot commodity around here, I know they were a few years ago when gas approached $4/gal.
At the most I could clean it up and flip it to someone who's Ram suddenly uses too much gas for their commute.
We have fellow with a nice Escort wagon who runs our auto cross's. He transferred a Zetech from a ZX2. Looks stock. Also has K-sport ? suspension. goes really well.
Jacking my own thread here...
If the BP is a good platform, and I find them in Kia Sophias constantly, why don't I see them built as much? Crappy platform?
Are you referring to the BP engine or the BG chassis (platform)?
If the engine, ever heard of a turbo miata?
If the chassis, they just never caught on with the aftermarket but there is enough out there to improve them significantly.
^What he said. You can a very fast screamer out of pretty much anything BP powered for relatively little work and money.
As for the chassis, same deal. It's ALL out there, just might have to do some digging.
But you don't see them much because they didn't catch on. Because the BG chassis in North America was mostly a "disposable" car. The only true "performance" variant was the Familia GTX/GTR.
It also has some weaknesses when compare to Civics of the same time period. (Aftermarket, mcstrut vs. double wishbone) Also has some strengths in my opinion. Better motor, bigger brakes, feels a little more solid to me. I'll be able to tell just how much the weaknesses matter next year.
No no I meant why don't I see turbo'd kia sephia's. They can be had for pennies, and I'm pretty sure they have BP power.

The first gens do, yes...
And there are turbo ones out there. The transmissions on those are actually stronger. Common swap to put a Sephia trans on an EGT or the like.
The difference is i can count on one hand the number of times i've seen a BP powered Kia Sephia in the last month, but i've seen many MANY other BP powered cars.

I don't know if I would say better motor.
