Florida’s Palm Beach International Raceway Looks Set for Demolition (msn.com)
Champcar is doing the 'last race' on Tuesday the 19th. I first ran Moroso in 1991, so I'm hoping to run a stint in case it is the last one.
I ran the "last race" at Texas World Speedway in 2015, then the "really, this is the last one" in 2018 before Hurricane Harvey made it a junkyard in 2019.
Oh man- I had no idea. No surprise though. Bummer, I've spent a good amount of time at the drag strip.
The Kauffs and Champion have some pull in the area and are both out there a good bit- sounds like some folks need to get involved.

I'll be there.
PBIR is less than 20min from my house. I've run it enough times now that I don't get super excited about another track day there. It isn't the greatest track in the world, but having it so close was super convenient. Their weekday karting leagues were super fun too.
As much as I don't want to lose the track, I respect the owners' property rights to make best use of it.
We'll be there running on Tuesday as well. Really sad to see it go, not the greatest track; but, losing one is never good for our scene. I'm really surprised with all the money and car enthusiasts in South Florida that no one is stepping up to save this track.
