I found a really good deal on some new Piloti shoes, but they're a size 10, and I usually wear a 10.5, sometimes 11. I know some shoe companies sizes run a big large, and was hoping Piloti is one of them. Any Piloti users care to give some input?

My pair of PCHs appear to be US 11.5s when I normally wear an 11, so I'm afraid it's the other direction, if anything.
If it's any consolation, I almost immediately retired them as yardwork shoes. Overpadded, clumsy, the "roll control heel" just jacks my foot up to where my toes are more likely to tangle the stuff under the dash. I consider them a step backwards from Chuck Taylors for driving...
I much prefer the Adidas driving sneakers (good grip, no excess size, slightly stiff-for-a-sneaker sole good for heel-toe action), though they've gotten uglier with each revision and are getting hard to find. I may have to try the Pumas (if they're any easier to find at this point), though I'm concerned about the narrow tread.
I've had a couple sets of the Bondurant inspired Piloti leather shoes and love them. The size for these are pretty dead on.
The bummer is I've worn the soles out in both pair, although the upper portion of the shoes is in great shape. Piloti says they can't re-sole the shoes, so it looks like I'm off to the cobbler. Hopefully they can keep these things going.
Bummer, guess I'm still looking. I actually like a classic pair of Vans for autocross, but I need SFI approved shoes for Chump Car.
I just bought my first pair of the Vans classic saddles in 30 years. I was hoping they'd be good for autocross.
I've always used Chucks when I was going driving and had a choice, but I started looking into driving shoes and while pricing Pumas, DC and Piloti, found these on NAM:
While I probably overpaid for what I got, I could not find them anywhere else, and they were only $15 more than new brand name stuff, and they'll be way cool once my 2011 MCS shows up around the first week of June.
