If at all possible I'd highly recommend hitting the Twisted Sisters (TX335, TX336, & TX337)....
Each road has its own unique feel. One's the rollercoaster section where you will scrape bottom in the troughs and fly over crests (you will absolutely feel the positive and negative G's) Another is the more rolling, sweeping section with cattle-guards and many decreasing radius turns. And the remaining one is the canyon section with massive shear drop offs and absolute hairpin turns combined with nice snakey switchbacks...it's the absolute scariest section and will have a death count for the year sign(s)... mainly because it's THE motorcyclist destination in Texas.
Would not reccomend driving through there at night...because deer and ability (or lack thereof) to see the terrain and flow of the road. My FR-S engine oil temp saw 240F running it in August...which is the hottest month in Texas.
