Lovely 90
That's a 99T notchback. I had one years ago.
I'm sure that's what he meant. I don't believe the 90 was ever sold here. It was Euro only model and I think most went to the UK for some reason. The arse end of a 900 with the nose of the 99. I never understood why they built it.

The 99T notch was never officially imported either, but that's not to say that none made it to the States.
the 99 came before the 900, didn't it? I know the nose of the 99 was lengthened when it became the 900 for crash safety reasons.
I am still after a set of taillights for a 99. They are prettier than what the 900 got

this to me is a happy saab picture because it's back on the road and is one ride home away from surviving it's first week back in daily duty
Thanks for the pics everyone. Brought back loads of memories. Owned 3 96s w/3 cylinder 2 strokes. One was a Monte Carlo. Also a 96 w/V4 that was set up to run on the fire trails in Jersey Pine Barrens, (The Wood Tick). When I moved to Minnesota, I taught my 2 sons how to drive on ice on a frozen pond with a 99 and later bought another 99 for them to take to college in North Dakota. They never had to shovel after snow storms. Oldest son bought a V4 Sonett after college. Then Subaru started selling 4x4s and we moved on.
