Is listed as a motorcycle on their website so I assume it isn't allowed in autox events? Or is it?
OT: I saw one in rush hour gridlock today. It was somewhat entertaining. The driver had a hot-shot Alpinestars motorcycle jacket on...
Not in SCCA events. Talked with Doug at the national office and 3 wheelers are not allowed for autox.
There are quite a few around AZ. Even the fancy custom chopper place next to my office has one out front. The rockabily cookout this summer had one (with a new gold wing next to it) parked in the row of custom choppers. All of the drivers/riders/operators? appeared to be 60's plus. Much higher age bracket than all of the Spyder riders.

Would it get it's own class then?

Why am I not surprised? It's probably unfair of me to say so, but sometimes SCCA leadership comes off as a bunch of 80-year-olds who spend their lives alternating between poring over the minutae of obscure regulations and yelling at the kids to get off their lawns.
What about all those Morgans??? I've seen film footage of some running local autocross.....it was years ago. Back around 1990 a friend built a 3 wheeled car and our local region allowed it to run at an autocross, oops we may have violated the rules. I have to say I don't see why the Polaris cant run, it's not like they are unsafe or going to roll over, in fact there are plenty of cars that are way more likely to have issues.

Chuckle, well said. VERY well said!
There used to be a T-Rex frequenting our BMW events a couple years ago. it was pretty quick and very weird to ride in, turns in like a car mostly but the rear tracks around after it, um, differently
I'd say talk to your local region. In Philly we have an old car group that runs with us from time to time and I'd swear I've seen a Morgan or two over the years. But in general, the rules do state "4-wheeled vehicles". Likely due to insurance. Smaller clubs with less to lose can afford to be more lenient about this sort of thing.
