Woody, looking at your garage is kinda like looking at what I want in mine. +1 internets, sir.
Before I bought my first Porsche, I had to decide if I was prepared to become my own Porsche mechanic. I decided that I was and went from there.
Porsche dealers are expensive, but there is a well established community out there that is willing help you through just about anything. There is an awful lot that you can do yourself. Up until very recently, Porsche, as a company, expected you to maintain your own car. That's why they give you tools with them.

It was just the AOS.He looked at me and said" I know its blown OK"So I got it for challenge money fixed it for about 105 bucks did a few other things to it(front tires, oil cap and top relay) and now driving it every day.
Speedbiu, you may be the seller of these headers, but, if not, you should grab them. They're nearby!

Tim Suddard wrote: Hey guys, Does anyone have a nearly stock early Boxster that is in driving distance from Barber Motorsports park(Birmingham AL)? I have a very interesting story idea and need to borrow you and your car for a day. The date would be Tuesday May 22nd, and if you have the time and interest, I am willing to bet you would remember this day for the rest of your life.
3 years ago, I was your guy.
I can ping a few people and see what I can dig up. I still have some PCA contacts.

Yep,those are mine.I just couldn't see the performance gain vs the time and possible problems of the bolts off in the aluminum heads so I chickened out.lol. Woody,I will say this about the dealers.Brumos Brumos Brumos! There prices are inline with online prices and all the staff is awsome.Brandon in service has always pointed me in the right direction if I can't figure it out on my own and he doesn't have to do that so I buy as much as I can from those guys just because there competitive pricing and friendly staff.
Still looking? My neighborhood is on the same street as Barber and we are littered with Boxsters around here. My neighbor has an early S model. Does that interest you?
if I was you, I would be making friends whith one of those boxster owners in your neiborhood! I would say my brother in law but not sure his ever leaves the garage..
