Saw a white Porsche with Carrera GT3 script on the rear deck driving to work today. Only one I've seen in person. Looked like somebody took a ballerina and added a badonkadonk rear end. Proportions seemed inappropriate. It didn't have a wing and didn't look like it used to have one so I don't know if it really was a GT3 or not.

I do a lot of DE events with the Porsche club. They're fast. very fast. and I think they look pretty awesome too.
The new lights on fire version or the previous one? I haven't seen a new one yet but an aquaintence has the previous one. It's a very very nice car. There is nothing about it that I don't like.

like this? I bet it's pretty good to drive.
There was one at Hallett driven by a woman last couple times I was ata track day. The ground shook when that thing went by. It was VERY fast
All I know is they are spendy, fast and I like them... did I mention they are fast.
Plain white, no graphics other than "Carreras GT3" diagonally across the rear deck lid, LED tail lights (I could see individual LEDs around the top, outside edge, and along the bottom but none along the inner edge and the center appeared to be a single incandescent bulb). Front fenders did not really appear to be flared, but the rears were. Looked more like the first one Carbon posted except for the graphics & wing.
But..but..but...do they have an air cooled engine?
Did it look like mine?
Its an RSR. We're not supposed to drive them on the street, but I sometimes sneak out in it.

Oh my gosh............that's gorgeous. I love GT3s.
Did it look like this?
Anyone watched the last couple of weeks of Top Gear?
Not really all that fast, see here's a picture after I've obviously just passed one at Hallett a couple years ago!
Actually, getting passed by one (repeatedly) at the track is great, because it's a front row seat for some really awesome noise.
The rear end of the new one is rather ugly. Looks more like an Aston than a Porsche.
I think the GT3 RS is a bit too much for me. Make mine a 996 or 997 GT3, please. (And yes, I have thought about selling it all to buy a 996 GT3.)

Gorgeous. I'd take light blue paint instead of the brown. A set of Torque Thrusts would work well too. Love me some '60s wagons!

Well, if I sold my 911, the Mini, the Miata and the wagon, I get kinda close, you know….

If you drove the RS you would sell a organ to make up the difference. Its a completely different car with the extra motor rpm and setup. But it looks like a like a run of the mill 997 with a big wing so no sale for me.
Yeah, not sure I need the RS wing as well.
Having been behind the wheel of a 997 GT3 RS 4.0, I can say that there is no better car in existence.
I will one day own a 996 GT3, though. Excellent all-rounder, that car.

As a ex 996 GT3 owner you are correct. The 997's in some specs can be brutal on the road.

The values of that particular model have gone absolutely bonkers. Crazy to see how much they are pulling right now. I'd love to drive one.
