Porsche has committed to moving its' US corporate headquarters out of a northern Atlanta suburb and move to the city's southside.

The new site will occupy acreage formerly used by Ford as an assembly plant and plans include a test course to showcase the product line. It is next door to Hartsfield Airport and I-75 so there is easy local and international access. This is a win/win for everyone except for the people whose daily commute has at least doubled.
I'm betting the local PCA chapter is excited about the prospect of a new competition venue, but I really hope the ARSCCA can get in on some action, too.

That looks like fun. Hopefully through all my dealership and raceday promotional whoring I'm already on their list for those free "demo" days or whatever they call them. Although I doubt Porsche is as concerned as some at getting people to try their cars. (thank you GM and Mazda)
Either way, it's great to hear they're doing something with the old Ford grounds. Atlanta can use all the help it can get combating useless (or just unused) asphalt.

That'll suck for the Alpharetta fare who work there, guess they'll have to buy golf carts and move to P.T.C...
Given the location, they had better have armed guards, razor wire, and electrified fences around the perimeter...
