Possible Chicago to Columbia, SC Later This Week.

Most likely Wednesday night/Thursday, if the stars align.   

This will be as mercenary hauler type of situation for someone who is trying to work a deal on a drivetrain for his car, and I will probably leave pretty soon after I get the call from him that he's made the deal.   Not a ton of time on the way down, but I will do my best to meet on the Sw side of Chicago before or on the way if someone needs something brought down.   Lots more time on the way back, however.

Empty F250 bed on the way down, considerably less room on the way back.  Truck does have a receiver hitch.  At least Class III, probably Class IV.   


Any leads on decent JYs in the area/on the route or GRMers to meet appreciated.   

Think you could bring a Miata hardtop down?  Where in SC?  I got people all over.

NM It's in Detroit.  I think that'll be too hard to get to you before you leave.

Yeah, that's about 5 hours east.  Tough without knowing whether I am even making the trip until a couple hours before i have to leave.   I'm kinda on standby until then.

I still have to pick up a '67 Valiant from the Detroit area, but without knowing for sure if I will take this trip I might just be dragging it further from you.

Deal fell through. Trip is off.  

Which is probably a good thing, as I wasn't looking forward to loading a Coyote engine and trans by myself in 100 degree heat.
