1998 K2500 Suburban loaded 100k miles, 454 engine, southern and looks good + rust-free in the pics. What's the hive think it's worth? KBB lists it at $3550 in very good condition for a private party sale. Seller has it listed for significantly higher...
What does the hive think it's worth?

3/4 ton 4x4. What is stuckx4?
In reply to secretariata:
Eh shoulda said 4xstuck.
4x2. You know 2wd...stuck wheel drive...sorry. Yeah id max at 4k
In reply to chiodos:
Gotcha, if I wind up with something that has an autotragic transmission I'm definitely gonna go for 4x4. 4x2 works for me if it has a manual transmission, but that is rare in full-size trucks & SUVs. Only times I've been stuck in a manual trans 4x2 I was somewhere that I shouldn't be...![](/media/img/icons/smilies/laugh-18.png)

My dad just bought a 93, but it was a 350 tbi 4x4, and it had 107k miles and was super clean for 3500. Being a few years newer and 454 prolly makes it worth about a grand more. Id say 4500.
The obs trucks in good shape are worth a mint around here, but for some reasons the clean tahoes and burbs are worth less.
Around here burbans with good miles and clean are an easy 5k up to 07 where there is a significant price bumb. You can always find them fot less but they always have significant rust and or need a lot of repairs.
Ok, so the one I originally found got sold before I could get to it...
How interchangeable are the interiors/options on GMT400 Suburbans? Found one that was a fleet vehicle and looks to be priced right. I'm going to try and see it tomorrow. How easy is it to add cruise, tilt steering wheel, third row seating, and bucket seats? How difficult is it to find the necessary parts used?
Also, to swap from a TBI 350 to 454 is it basically engine (w/accessories), trans, and radiator? Vehicle would be a 4x4...

Interiors are pretty much entirely interchangable. Not sure about cruise, but tilt wheel just requires a column swap, IIRC, third row should bolt in, as should buckets and the console. All parts are readily available at your local junkyard. From a TBI 350 to a 454, it's what you listed and mounts. Personally, I would check this out and do some stuff to the TBI 350 if you aren't going to be constantly pushing it to max towing capacity.
In reply to G_Body_Man:
Yeah, I won't be pushing to max tow rating regularly. Just thinking about when the engine does need replacement. I won't be using it as a DD, so the extra fuel cost due to MPG's isn't an issue and the ability to tow anything within reason is appealing. ![](/media/img/icons/smilies/grin-18.png)

Tbi gmt400's are interchange heaven. Even the power windows and locks are on their own harness not intertwined with the dash making it easy to swap. Want a big block where your 4.3 is? Simple, get mounts for a 454ss, any 454 computer with right transmission, and bolt it in without changing the engine harness.
Bucket seats - youll have to drill the holes for the inner tracks, outside holes line up with bench seat bracket holes.
Anybody know how difficult it is to add cruise control to a 99 suburban? Just spoke to the owner of the one I'm interested in and it does not have cruise.
