As an owner of a W211 for a couple years now, the W210 especially the AMG ones appeal to me a bit more. The styling just feels classic to me despite the almost same bodystyle on mine being the same one they use to this day. In fact it was only 2016 when they went to the W213. You can get a lot of car for the money tho. Mercedes especially S class have always had before their time gadgets

Heck, for less than double the OP's $7500, he could have an 06 S65 AMG with 150k.  Pretty rare, super fast, originally about $190,000, now a bargain for $14k

I am completely blown away that you can buy an 11 year old V12 twin turbo 600hp car that present that well, at least in photo's, for less than a new Fiesta.  Remind me next time I have fantasies about buying an Jag not to post on here when you are in the searching mood.  You could be the death of me.

7995 CLS55:

Man this could be worth a look as long as it isn’t a flood car.

That’s not actually a CLS55, it is a CLS500 with different badges. Cues are the grille, exhaust, tach and speedometer.  Most of the “AMG” examples that Curtis posted were not AMG cars at all, people like to put the badge on any Mercedes to feel better about themselves.

Could catch.  Forget that one then.  I kind of want a CLS55 after my v12 phase is over,  so do like to shop them occasionally.
