I recently purchased this wall mounted tire rack for my garage. Today was install day. I'm very happy with the unit! The price was VERY reasonable. I ordered it from HomeDepot.com and had it delivered to my local store. The install was super easy and it seems well made. I would recommend it to anyone looking to get some tires up off the floor.

Wow, that's cheaper than I would have guessed.

I was going to weld one up out of some square tubing I have in the garage. Maybe I'll save that for something else!

I haven't seen one priced that low, I could mount a couple of those in my garage.

Will it hold a truck tire? Something ~30-31" in diameter?

For that price, I'm wondering how I could mount it to my steel car port. 2 of those to hold my spare sets would be great

I have the same racks, and am quite happy with them. I think I paid 49 bucks each thru Amazon, but with free shipping. I also like that they fold flat when not in use. Also, you can cut a board to fit, and use them as a shelf, desk, whatever. photo 20150925_153912_zpscjmyd5dx.jpg

Not sure if it would hold something that big. The furthest out bolt hole is 21.25" from the wall. I would think you could us just one crossbar, with the back of the tire against the wall. With that configuration, not sure how big of a wheel/tire would fit.

Wow, VERY well priced indeed. I was just about to build one on my garage wall, but for the price I'd almost rather just buy one and not have to worry about measuring/cutting/making a list for material. Good deal!

Wow, great price. At $45, this would be easier than building one.

I've always wondered about storing tires long term like that, though. It seems as if there would be two lines across the tire where all the gravity goes, similar to flat spotting. I've always stacked my tires on rolling dollies, but I would love to get them up off the floor.

I ordered 2 of these based off this thread. We installed the first and threw my wife's snow tires and a spare truck tire up there. Now I just need to move stuff to install the second where I want it.
