So, anyone want a free dodge caravan that comes with an opportunity to learn detailed workings of dodge wiring harnesses?

Turns out ithe main harness is located in the upper front fender, and if a flat tire tears apart and starts flapping around in there it can snatch the harness and tear the wires out of the back of all the connectors.

Free if you drag it away, located in charleston sc.

2004 grand caravan, 140k miles. It's a heap and pretty crusty from life in NY state, but ran fine before the incident. AC was ice cold

The damage a failing tire can do to a fender or a human body inside a wrecked car is usually way more expensive than a junkyard engine harness anyway, but sorry to hear about the bad 'luck'.

I just lent an old dodge van to a student who had locked up the engine in his tahoe due to no oil pressure. He just called me and explained that he locked up the engine in my van due to no oil pressure. Sigh.

Some people really need to learn to pull over before things get worse.
