I just took them off of the Sienna. The paint is badly worn away on the rear bumper, and there is pitting and rust on the front fenders. There's a reason a friend of mine calls them moisture traps.

I put 3M Scotchguard film on the panels before installing splash guards FWIW. Reduces paint abrasion. Also do 3M strips on the rockers trailing the guards.

Pretty much, but they were all cracked, so I took them off. Nobody likes road debris.

We had a Toyota Echo with the factory body kit (fender flares, side skirts, and air dams) in Ontario, and it wasn't too bad. It only rusted on top of the shock towers.
