Another vote for NAPA here. I think front rotors for the Neon were like 15 bucks each.

I won't attempt to turn any rotors unless they're antiques. Last several shops I've taken rotors said there wasn't enough metal left to turn, and this on the OE rotors with like 60k miles on them. They just don't make them thick enough to turn anymore. Disposable part.

I stopped by the local NAPA on Saturday after the free flying lesson my wife gave me for my birthday last year. Talk about be on a natural high!!

$150ish in parts and I figured it might take one hour to do the brakes. WRONG. One of four sliding pins was no longer sliding. This is why I hate working on cars anymore. Luckily for me, our upstatirs AC went out (you will see the irony). The AC man came over to fix it and I got him to get out his MAPP torch. A little heat and it finally came out. Otherwise, this would have extended over days.

Napa rotors and performance friction pads. The pfc pads are American made and great quality.

I bought the NAPA pads, which I believe are Raybestos. I had to buy the cheaper rotor ($30) as they didn't have the $60 ones in stock. I would have mail ordered some pads, but I wanted to get it done that day. Tire Rack had free shipping for the rotors and pads.
