The ironic and sad thing about the first pic is that firefighters could not put out fires on a lot of their own homes.
hate to be an @$$, but why is a fire fighter losing his home to fire any more sad than anyone else losing their home to fire? ironic, maybe, but more significantly sad...no.

ironic was the Kilgore, Tx fire department firehouse burning down while they were away responding to a fire. even made the texas monthly bum steer awards.
That sucks.
On another note someone please slap the E36 M3 out of me if I ever say I want to move to a place that densely populated.
DO NOT WANT!!

My first job, the place was owned by a firefighter who ran the place on his off days (he was on 24hr/off 48hr). Had two daughters around my age.
The eldest died in a dorm fire.
