I've been looking all over and I can't seem to figure it out. Does the NB have a false floor on the passenger side like the NA does? I have my NB all stripped out, and there are studs coming out of the floor like there should be, but I can't find one (I took my car apart a while ago) in my collection of interior parts anywhere. Am I just crazy? And if so, where on earth are the two studs coming out of the floor panel for? (ECU is on driver side).

Thanks

False floor - you mean the ECU cover on the 1.6 cars? Nope, not on the NB. And I don't know what they're for. I just checked on a random salvage car and they're not used at all on that one.

Ok, so I'm not so crazy. They NB has the random studs on the floor for nothing. I think (from what research I have done) they are for the euro cars. I think I'll make my own false floor and put stuff under it, just wondering it it came with a cover already or not. Thanks for the help

Where on the floor are these studs?

I am guessing in the passenger footwell, near the firewall (that's where the ones are on 1.6's as referenced).

Yup. You won't find them unless you pull the carpet.

Yea, it's very odd. But I will be able to use them for what I want to do, so I guess it's not all that bad.
