Hi folks, I am 5'7", 31" waist, 47" chest, 185lbs. Would anyone happen to have any recommendations for custom racing suits? I assume there is no way I will find one that will fit me. (pardon the misspelling of suit in the subject, I can't see how to fix it. )

Just buy an oversize suit; Jacques Villenueve always wore baggy suits............if it's good enough for an F1 champ it should work for you.
While most of the major manufacturers have custom departments that will build a suit to spec, usually at about a 50% premium, buying oversize—if you can accept looking a bit goofy in the pits—also has a real-world safety advantage. The best fire insulation is air gap, and bigger suit = more dead space.
That said, if you;re set on a custom suit, all the major players offer tailoring to some degree, with some like Simpson even offering full custom construction.
Even some of the more budget-oriented brands have custom sizing available. Zamp has an aramid suit that you can have custom made for $600-$700, with custom logos and everything.

Thank you all! Great suggestions. Very much appreciated.
Race Image has used NASCAR crew suits that come in nearly every size possible. I am shaped like a potato and picked up a two piece NASCAR truck crew suit for $300 that was not even a year old. I was going to buy a crazy expensive Sparco one piece that fit ok but i hated the way it felt while seated. So i took the measurements i got at the race shop i went to and started browsing. Found the size i needed and picked it up. Worth every penny and im now on year 3 of using it with great results.
FWIW, the NASCAR crew suits are SFI rated 3.2/5 which is good for 10 seconds before 2nd degree burns per SFI. I still wear nomex underwear under my suit for that extra layer of protection.
a gym rat friend of mine (52 chest, 32 waist) bought a suit for a much larger person and had it tailored.
