Does anyone happen to know the rough weight of a Moto Guzzi 1200 engine and also a VW Bug transmission?

I'll just go ahead and give you a ballpark, the 091 is the HD trans found in the vans and is the heaviest, weighing roughly 90 pounds without and axles and stuff. the type 1 and 002 are more compact and cannot handle as much power, I believe they weight in the 75 pound range.

Sweet that is what I needed. Anyone got an idea on the Moto Guzzi engine?

1000-1200cc bike engines are typicall in the 135-175 range. That's with the transmission though.

You know, these don't seem random at all. They seem like specific weights. I have addressed the subject of this thread below:

  • I weigh 188 lbs
  • I weigh 71lbs on Mercury
  • A gallon of milk weighs 8.6lbs
  • A human eyeball weighs approx. 7g.
  • The brain of an Aardvark weighs appox. 72g.
  • I weigh 5089.5lbs on the Sun
  • The weight of light (if it's energy is converted to mass) is m=E/c^2 but zero works pretty well as a placeholder on a bathroom scale.
