How much would an ugly Series run?
I never get the hate these bring out, cheap, cool and fun they have in spades.
Mine has never stranded me.
My original airbags work fine.
I have heard coil springs spoil the ride, which is amazing

My OME coil system still retained a great ride as well as even better off road capabilities.

A quick search on Land Rover Exchange popped up one for $1950 and another for $2000. There are a few more in the $5000 range as well. The usual techniques for finding an inexpensive car apply - find the local club and identify The Guy who knows of every one for sale, for example. That's how I got mine. It's also how I scored a new frame and bulkhead for $200.
I like those body style Range Rovers with the round headlights and I hear a lot of negative things about them but I still want one.
I have had two Range Rovers, and while I will probably never own another one I still daydream about them from time to time. It's like smoking. You can stop buying cigarettes [Range Rovers] but you'll be a smoker [Rover addict] 'till the day you die.
Im very tempted to buy a p38 range rover, I know they are probably terrible, I think it would be fun to drive one when it worked though lol.
I think the Evoque is like the sketchy uncle no one talks about in the family.
I went with a friend in his S2 Discovery with a 3" lift and some A/T tires on a trip through Moab. The abilities of the Disco were really impressive considering the light mods. We even forgot the wrench to lock the transfer case and only got stuck once.
The hardware on the Disco makes my Grand Cherokee look like a shopping cart.
I like them but due to all the horror stories about them, they scare the hell out of me so it's unlikely I will ever own one.
I think Wheeler Dealers did an episode on them and the air ride system failed on the way home after purchasing it.............if I remember correctly.

Hate to sound stupid................but I don't think I have ever heard of Whitworth before. Guess I will have to look it up.

Yeah it did and it ended up being a bad pump.
