I built a raspberry pi up with that same 7inch touchscreen to use with RaceCapture as a digital dash for our racecar. It would have worked very well if our chumpcar has an OBDII port haha. This seems much more intuitive and I may re-start the project with something like this. Thanks for the link!
Edit* realzing this is OBDII based too. RaceCapture I think will work with the Hondata S300 we now have; but, I might give this a go too.
