I have a late '90s vintage wheel that I'm using in the CSP car. Both the suede and leather have seen far better days. Is there an outfit that charges reasonable prices to re-cover a wheel? Is this something worth attempting to undertake myself?

I have recovered normal sized wheels quite sucsessfully useing kits purchased at auto parts stores. Some kits are better than others and you may have to try a few different places to find a kit with good material. other than that you will need two curved needels and a lot of patience.

Or do it yourself.

Carefully take the stiching apart, make a pattern, cut, poke, etc. Then you can use the more expensive materials, since they are actually fairly cheap to get.

I almost did that to a momo wheel online.
