Woke up in the middle of the a dream (nightmare?) that I was building a 4AGE-powered Lotus Europa. Took me a while to fall asleep again after that ordeal, only to wake up a few hours later when the dream had progressed to me trying to find a transmission that would work in the Europa chassis and with the 4AGE.
This forum, it's a bad influence.
as often as I lament my lack of fab. skills, something like that makes me be not quite so upset about said lack 
Couldn't you use a BDA?
That would be so cool to go to sleep every night, build a car, drive the piss out of it, and then wake up without any bills.
It often causes me to wake up with random car searches open on Craig'slist; MR2, Impreza 2.5 RS, starions... etc..
I did have a dream the other night that I was driving the wheels off a 5 series wagon. I blame the "wagon appreciation" thread.

Ive done the same thing. Many a late night browsing craigslist thinking to myself: well that looks like an easy project especially if I buy this motor.
