Was visiting friends earlier this week in central Wisconsin and I got an invite into the pole barn to take a look at "the truck". It's a 1960 F100 Custom Cab. Been sitting for about 35 years. Comes out occasionally to get some exercise. V8, 43K miles, solid body, totally unrestored. The pics are lousy, there wasn't a lot of space to move around and it was dark. They're not looking to sell it, but it looks like a perfect candidate for BAT.
Wow , nice truck ,
there are so many hidden gems that very seldom get seen .
One of my least favorite years for old fords, but that's a very tidy example, and the red/white suits that body style. Nice truck

If you're thinking about going BaT with the truck, I recommend doing it soon. The economy is cooling and starting to drag at some of the play money purse strings. Also, the BaT process takes a long time, figure 4-6 weeks, so that may play into your plans.
Some Fords from that era have what I call 'bank vault' doors. They shut with a very satisfying and positive sound. Very well constructed cabs. GM was always far far behind in that respect. But unfortunately, in my opinion, GM always soundly beat Ford in powertrain. At least in trucks of this error.
