Came across this and had to share. So cool!

No joke. Really hope it's not running the old 2-stroke diesel; mad fun for about 10 minutes, crazy tiring afterwards.

All the fire companies gave up on the gas V12 and re-engined these with Detroit 2 stroke diesels for reliability reasons when the trucks were fairly new. It only looks large when parked with cars. Drive in to a truck stop with it and it looks tiny Entropy Racing's ALF 3 car hauler has a Detroit and massive amounts of sound deadening as well as multiple mufflers and it is OK on cabin noise now, but it was a long involved project to get it there.
I recognize the Boyd Auto Body truck in the background, a local business to me. The vegetation and hills suggest it's likely Peachland BC or Penticton BC.

Best viewing way to this is paddle canoe in centre of Lake. I truly admire canoe builders keeping their old boats in an insane province.

I honestly admire people who keep these old vehicles in an insane state. My dad also had a similar truck back when I was a kid, and he loved the truck so freaking much. However, he had to sell it as my family had some terrible financial issues. I still remember how my mom was telling him every night, "sell your old truck." It made him so freaking upset.
