2 wins, 2nd in Oz, dominating Vettel, fantastic close battles with Alonso and passing the long way round Hamilton
I admit it, I have a man crush

Yes, maybe the best F1 racing in years. Ferrari, Mercedes and Red Bull duking it out till the end. Stunning battles with Alonso. Great to see Ricciardo doing so well. And he's always happy and smiling!! So different than so many F1 drivers who always appear angry about something.
My other thought is, how must Vettel be feeling to have Ricciardo come in and just dominate him? I wouldn't say I have a man crush but if I was going to have one, he would probably be it.
It was a strategy issue, why did Hamilton not get tires the same time as Rico?
It was not a gamble they should have made that Rico would not be able to make up that ground.
I have a conspiracy theory that the teams are not letting the hot shots win because of the bonus's they have to pay them.
the "junior" driver always gets the most experimental / least-proven parts. sometimes those parts turn out to be fast.

Literally every driver on the grid started as a "junior" driver. Once in a while great talents emerge; see - Ricciardo, who doesn't need help from experimental parts. His team mate, on the other hand....
I haven’t read this thread, just pre-writing this and posting just in case I’m (hopefully) wrong about the meaning of the title. But I assume from the title that Danny boy won again yesterday. Good for him. But how about putting it in a thread with a spoiler alert. I only saw the first 15 laps so far and as is usual I avoid all pure F1 sites, F1 threads, sports news, social media etc. until I’ve seen the whole race. But it’s hard to miss a thread with a title like this, so no thanks, but I now think I know who one, which wasn’t who I was expecting from the first 15 laps.

There were lots of reasons not to change tires. Hungary is "Monaco without the houses", it's extremely difficult to pass, by going for 2 softs instead of 1 medium, you are giving up track position to gain performance, but you need to do a lot of on-track passing. That's a huge gamble. Additionally, remember that it was threatening rain, so teams were reluctant to bring their drivers in until absolutely necessary, because otherwise there's a big risk of getting stuck with 2 stops in 4 laps when rain comes at the wrong time.
Conspiracy? Pah. The teams make way more money based on position in the Constructor's championship than they wind up paying out to drivers in points-based variable compensation schemes. Also, not all drivers have that kind of contract -- I mainly hear about it when a team is trying to attract a driver that they can't really afford.
If any team is trying to screw a driver out of a pay date it is the red team on Kimi. Sitting in the garage at the end of Q1 in 15th place.

I've got no man crush on any of them... but I also DON'T have a hate crush either.....
As to respond to your quote... remember back to Vettel in the rain @ Monza in 2008.....
Oh... and Ricciardo is indeed the real deal...

Given his starting position, Hamilton was on such a long-shot strategy that another tire change wasn't in the cards.
Talk about a man-crush (or maybe the crush should be on the car designers)-- here is a guy that started from the PIT, spun out on the first lap, and was contesting second place up until the last lap or so.
Hamilton has been simply awesome for the past 2 events, but he is not proving his worth anymore, we know how good he is
It was a strategy issue, I don't think extraordinary driving skill had much to do with the outcome of this race.
Except for Alonso's finishing position.
I put it to you this way, Who would have won if both Hamilton and Alonso had stopped for tires at the same time as Daniel?
Red Bull took the gloves off Ricciardo around 3/4 distance, he goes from 12th to 5th in about 5 laps, no way he could catch the Mercedes engined car at the front but he dispatched his team mate with ease.
Strategy is F1 racing, timing is everything from qualifying to pit stops. Better strategy is better racing

and what would have happened if Red Bull had the Mercedes engine in 2014, wishes in one hand...
the race has been over for at least 30min …..
if I miss the live version and plan on watching it later (re-broadcast or DVR) I usually don't click on any thread that could possibly have anything to say about the output …. just saying shrug

¿Quien es Mas Macho?
Regardless on how well Ric has done this year, I would not discount Vettal. I think that it is much better to be on the attack, rather then the other side. I think that is also why Ham is doing so well and Nico is letting the pressure get to him. It will be interesting to see what happens on the coming weeks.
