We stay at Indian Head in Lincoln every year. Great place for a family.
Don't forget Flume Gorge right up the street!

I was in a shop about 20 Minutes from the ferry and never took it before so one afternoon it was slow we went across for lunch.
Pictures were absolutely worth the danger you put yourself and other motorists in. Carry on with you reckless ways.
Sounds like an awesome trip! Absolutely beautiful country up that way, my dad and I were up there skiing last year between Christmas and New Years.

I had knee surgery last week, so that more or less cleared up my schedule for a while.
I had the same thinking few years ago and drove 1000km to eat fresh lobster on the east cost (gaspesia). I dont really like lobster.. but if was the best damn lobster in my life. Nice trip too :)
This is where I parked for the night. I was advised to remove the granola bars from my glove box, lest the bears try to find their way in. One got into my sister's house over the summer. It took all the food from the spare fridge and hauled it into the yard. Fortunately, it left the beer.
I drove up in shorts and a t-shirt, but it was chilly in the morning.
