Russian Canoes

I was just on a business trip to Russia.  I had an excellent hotel, fast internet, and some free time on my hands.  I decided to try one of my favorite websites (this one right here) over an ice cold glass of  Russian beer which I cannot spell.  403 - Forbidden.  Every single time.  This was, in fact, the only site I frequent which I could not access.  I tried it from WiFi, I tried it from cellular data, and I tried it from a couple of different cities.  Always the same 403 error.  Is this by design?

They're just pissed because I deleted the .ru spam accounts.

In any event, this is one of the things that VPNs are for.

Same thing in China. GRM Blocked. Had to VPN though Canada. The GRM revolution is real.

Had the same issue in Korea with both this site and our local club site. Could only get to both of them through work VPN. Which is a secure gov't VPN that blocks most photos on this site. Well, really just some of the photo hosting sites so I couldn't see the posted photos.
