There's a ton of knowledge over on irv2.com... the Monaco owner's forum includes Safari. The REV folks aren't going to have any knowledge of these pre-REV coaches. Your best bet is the folks that own them.
Have you checked power continuity through the switch circuit to the hydraulic pump?
My 2003 unit had the option to manually operate the pump if the electric pump failed. So you could close the slides and drive on. Just saying.

The rear electric slide has a bypass. The hydraulic doesn't SMDH
