+1. I bought a similar gear bag for DH riding. My armor, full-face helmet and other gear is about the same size as driving gear. And it has wheels and an extending handle when moving from the house to the car and back.

Hockey Bag

Because my wife and I both ski and race cars, we bought 1 big bag. It is a huge Bauer hockey bag. It works perfect and it is WAY cheaper than anything specifically for this purpose....

I use a Rubbermaid plastic tote. Keep all my gear in there plus some raingear and a towel along with a bottle of fabreeze to spray in the helmet occasionally. It keeps everything well protected and is easy to move around and stow in the truck. I suppose this might not work very well if you are trying to stuff it in the front seat of a Miata.

About 5 years ago I bought a huge LL Bean or Landsend wheeled duffel on super sale. Fits helmet (in separate bag), suit, shoes, HANS and a towel/change of clothes, and is reasonably waterproof. Its cheap enough that I'm not bothered by the rough treatment it gets in the trailer. The times I've flown to races I carry my helmet & HANS on in a smaller bag, and put suit in checked bags.

I got a couple with the Targa entry a few years ago. Big enough for two helmets and HANS devices as well as the suits. It's got a pull out handle and wheels. It's an OMP and it'll outlast several sets of gear. About $180 at Racer Wholesale without the branding.

In reply to collinskl1: Thanks for the link, I like the Northface bag that has the backpack straps, just looking for something like half the price.
