Is it possible to hunt down any photos of the damage to a car that has a salvage title? It's already been repaired.

No pictures but I did find this...
Says that it was front end damage at 24k miles. How many miles now?
I think the title section says that it was NY State registered car when the accident happened.
It's got a bit over 60,000 miles now. That seems to be a decent indicator of the repairs being good. ?maybe? :)
and that is the damage the seller described as well. Seller bought the car with the salvage title already.
In general, if the car aligns well, drives well, and you can look it over and not readily identify the damage or repairs, I'd say it's likely repaired well.
Only pay what your insurance will value a salvaged title vehicle for. Am I wrong or is this a real thing?
I searched the major salvage auctions and I got nothing. It must have been totaled a while ago.... Meaning that the value of the car was higher, and thus the amount of work must have been substantial.

True. Totaled about 40,000 miles ago.
I drove it. It's a fantastic car. I want one. Cant decide if I should part with the cash though. Last time I owned a "nice" car it mostly sat in the garage while I played with the cheaper, more stripped down toys. I get a free f150 work truck for daily driver duties. Seems like a great deal to me at 19k
My M5 has a salvage title. Since it happened when the car was new, it had a high value so the parts used to repair were all good ones - BMW parts instead of random cheapos. There's almost no way to tell honestly.
If I wanted to find pictures, I'd probably start by trying to find out who the insurance company was at the time. I'll bet they took some. I have no idea what would be involved in getting your hands on them.
