Saw the slingshot for the first time

It was cool.

As in the Polaris Slingshot?

Saw one cruising the other day, twice.

Clearly the guy wanted to be noticed.

Maybe cool but not for me.

A buddy of mine got to test drive one a month or two ago, he said it's a lot of fun.

My son saw one when he was riding home on the bus the other day. When he got home he kept raving about this "awesome 3-wheeled car thing" that he saw.

Spotted one last week, neat looking.

Slingshot should make you think of this first. Imagine seeing one on the street?

Looks like fun though I thought it would sit a lot lower than that.

i saw one a couple of months ago. i was standing in the parking lot of a parts store talking with my cousin and this weird 3 wheeled thing pulls into the parking lot and stops in front of the liquor store on the other end of the building... the guy (probably in his late 50's or so) went in and came back out with a small bag that looked like it might have been a 6 pack of wine coolers... my cousin said the guy was probably going to use his cute little car and the wine coolers to pick up a high school chick..

E36 M3, didn't know what it was called but I seen one on the way to work yesterday.

Saw one leaving work last week. With disabled Veteran tags on it. Driver was 65 if he was a day. Good for him!

There's at least 4 different ones rolling around my town. Pretty funny to watch the rubberneckers.

I can't help but wonder if one were rear ended at speed, if the car running into it would just be catapulted up and over the driver/cockpit/whatever.

I don't get the point aside from someone who used to ride motorcycles but now cannot(injury, age, whatever) and wants a similar-ish feeling, but if it makes you happy then good for you.

I've seen one at a show and a college freind(I no longer keep up much aside from FB) is on the development team of that thing.

It looks like a really neat toy. Track weapon, no.

We have 2 running around NoVa/DC Metro area. I talked to one of the owners and he was nice. Old MC drag racer and he said it was as close as you could get to riding without riding. The little GM 4 banger was what sold him on it over the Polaris Spyder. He knew plenty of tricks he could do to it.

It is a toy. He was rigging his as a Goldwing touring rig

here is the one I came across... If I was (were?) to get one don't think red would be my color, I'd prefer black, you know, something a bit more subtle.

i feel like it should have a little tikes logo on the front. I dont care how awesome it is to drive around in, it looks like a kids toy to me.

They have one at the dealer near me. yesterday while watering me new grass near the road I was buzzed by a t-Rex. I think the t-Rex looks a lot better.

God is the Slingshot ugly...and it's even uglier in real life. It's like the 6 years interpretation of a three-wheeler.

I saw one for the first time last week. I thought it was neat to see, but not really interested in them as far as wanting to own one or even test drive one.

Ive seen a few and they are definitely not attractive vehicles but they will get you noticed.

I saw one the other day. It was...funky.

Too much like something out of a cartoon for me, but to each his own.
