First day and already wearing Vermont's finest. So far, very happy.
Her name is Maeve.

Her she is next to my friend's towering Tundra! Oddly a Pruis C in the same color as mine parked next to his truck.

Initial thoughts? It's comfortable. It's going to take some time getting used to the screen controls/interface. The seats fit me perfectly. Will have Fluid Film or Waxoyl treatment done, large mudflaps, and at least a bed mat. Weather Tech floor mats will be ordered too. Nad snow tires.
It's a nice color. They had a red (garnet?) Tremor in the showroom that looked nice.
No build thread planned. This is just basic transportation and towing.
2025 Maverick AWD hybrid with 4k towing package. No bells or whistles!

Is that a unicorn? Agree the color is great. You'll have to tow 4k with it soon and report back. Bonus points if you pass a F350 loaded with 1 person and the payload is their phone.
Am I the only one that was expecting a fully automatic weapon?
I didn't realize you can now equip AWD with the hybrid setup. Nice spec! Solid choice of color!
I'll be watching how you like it closely, as I'm considering one

I've been waiting for this option since they introduced this thing. Ordered as a soon as I saw it was available. Now if they made it a VAN I'd have been even happier.

Feel free to ask any questions. I generally drive 20k-25k miles a year, so it's going to get used a lot.
Mudflaps, floor mats, and studded snows ordered and on the way.
Anyone wanna buy a Prius C to help a brother out? lol

I have considered the idea of selling off my '19 Grand Caravan and '08 Prius to get one Maverick. I would spec it exactly as you have!
I'm jealous of everything but the payment/expense.

And the snow could be a stand in for the yeyo.
Congrats on the Maverick! Velocity Blue is a great color. I wish the AWD and 4k towing was available when I ordered my 2023 hybrid. I've got 22,700 miles on it now. Aside from the multitude of recalls and the crappy 12v battery, it's been a solid, do everything, little runabout.
I've been nothing but impressed with the hybrid powertrain. It's my favorite part of the truck. It won't melt your face but it's completely competent while being unobtrusive. I've gotten as high as 72mpg in normal driving.
If they put the AWD hybrid in a van, like a Transit Connect, I would buy one tomorrow. I had a 2015 Transit Connect LWB cargo van awhile ago. An AWD hybrid van would be extremely awesome.

Yes. Yes it would. Hello, Ford, are you listening?
OMG, they are pairing the AWD with the hybrid now!? That's great news! They listened to my posts.
And yes, yes, yes to an AWD hybrid Transit Connect!!!!! FORD DO IT!
DO IT!
Yeah it's a nice blue.
I like that yellow color on yours Stranger Mussle, too.

Or a dinner plate full of blow.
Very cool. I feel like an AWD hybrid Maverick fits the needs of a lot of people, potentially myself included.
And Ford gets bonus points for offering it in a lot of different colors–like actual colors, not three different shades of gray.

Well, its probably automatic and can kill people. Close enough?

Ford does not listen.
I'm still waiting on a long-bed extended cab electric work truck for under $50k.
Day Three, 140 miles. Averaging about 30 MPG. I may be abusing the remote start feature!
The transition between electric and gas is seemless. I've done about 40 miles electric according to the vehicle.
Easy to find a good seating position.
The tires are LOUD! The studded snows arrived today. Let's see how they sound. I was able to stuff them in the back seat (didn't want them out imn the weather until my appointment on Friday).
Handles extremely well for a "truck."
Getting used to the various interfaces. The three months of XM Sirius is nice. First Wave FTW. Stereo sounds good too.
The seat is very comfortable.
Auto dimming highbeams? Wow, nice.

Correct. I'm waiting for a long bed Ranger with the 7M from the Bronco.
I considered the AWD Hybrid Maverick and decided instead that I wanted my next car to be a car, but I'm glad Ford finally built this totally obvious combo.
I have a deposit on a 24 xlt/4k truck. That's stuck in recall hell.
I told my salesman today to keep his eyes open for a black xl/4k stripper truck.
Please go pull some heavy E36 M3 all over with the hybrid and report back. Preferably a miata on a tow dolly with a bedful of track weekend essentials.

I doubt that's it. I was getting right at 40mpg until it got cold. Now I'm getting 31mpg or so. Never use remote start. I do use the super duper defrost mode and let it run while I scrape the windows. It just seems to run the ice more to produce heat for defrost and occupant comfort. Times when I was used to using battery only, the ice is running even when using "normal" heater & defrost settings.

I will, but not until spring at the earliest. Will report back then.
