I'm curious about this. I submitted a letter to put the last of the Hyundai/Kia cars on the same platform into Hstreet... the 2010-13 Forte 2.4. Only makes since as the newer 201hp turbo car goes there, along withthe Elantra and Veloster.

Anyway... the question is, what is the actual process? I recieved an email that my letter had been reviewed and was beiung submitted to the SEB. What does that mean?

It will go to whoever it's supposed to and be reviewed at the next month's meeting. I think I got an email that said it had been reviewed, but I'm not sure. Then you check the online publication of the meeting and you see how it did.

I believe the actual process goes as such:

Submit the letter, receive response from the board, get your hopes up, only to be dashed with a "thank you for your input".

It will be routed to the Street Advisory Council the (SAC), which will read the letter, consider it, write a recommendation to the Solo Events Board (SEB) and which will be published in fasttrack (usually 2-3 months after you sent the letter).

If your letter is substantially the same as some other letters (I highly doubt it considering the subject), then it may be combined with other letters and a response to all similar-topic letters may be published collectively.

Everyone complains about the process, but both times I've written for a classing it has resulted in the requested change being published in Fasttrack and the third time I wrote regarding a clarification (Motorcycle engines in SM and JDM Cars in SM) and received a direct clarification within 24 hours.
